It’s the age of digital technology but the concept of “paperless office” still seems to be a distant future. The printing presses still play a huge role in supplying necessary office materials. In order to get these certificates the companies have to follow certain steps. These include sorting and recycling of all waste, using only non-toxic compounds, use vegetable based non-toxic inks that have negligible or zero VOCs, steer clients towards recycled paper or use paper from sustainable sources, use equipments that produces lowest possible waste, maintain chemical free printing plate creation process and monitor energy usage. These factors diminish the threat of VOCs, air pollution and consumption of huge resources and hence make the product safe for environment. FSC certified green printers are not only best for the daily office necessities but also safer and better for the future of our planet.
