The best comedians will always tell you the setup in a way that will leave you with many possible punch-lines to think of. The more you are convinced, the more you will laugh after hearing the punch line. But if you're already familiar with the punch-line the joke won't be funny anymore as the brain won't be making any new routes. This should prove useful if you want to think of some new pranks.
