<b>Inline Images</b>
<br>
Inline Images are those that are displayed. They are displayed to you automatically. External images on the other hand, are displayed on the page only if the viewer wants to load them. They are stored on a separated Web page and can be viewed only if the user wants to view that link.<br>
Inline images can be viewed if you have a graphical browser and the viewimage option as selected. For external images you dont really need a graphical browser. You can save this image and later view it using image editing/viewer software.
<br>
To insert an image into your Web page you have to use theIMG tag. The <IMG> tag has no closing tag but it has attributes that give the flexibility of aligning and formatting the image. We will begin with the basic SRC at tribute of this tag; SAC stands for source (filename or the URL) of the file.

<b>External Images</b>

You must be wondering why we need external images. Well, you need them in cases<br>
Where you have a large image and of a format other than GIF or JPEG and want the user to view it only if he/she is really interested.So, to achieve this you need to provide a link to the page.
