A Recycled Gift Basket

When a person receives a gift basket for a gift, seems many of the gift baskets end up out in the trash or in the garage. With the right ideas a gift basket can be used many times over.

A gift basket can be given to a friend at an occasion filled with many items that they like. You can build a theme around what they like. For example if its for a friend and she like spa items and loves taking baths all the time, then let her know you care. Purchasing items for a bath is simple, from bath salts to bath foam, to bath milk and a simple candle will do the trick.

Lets just say you receive a gift basket from a friend and you love the basket its self. The color matches where you have put it. The place is perfect where you have put it. You do not want to get rid of the basket. Then buying some beautiful silk flowers would be perfect for this. Also, you dont like silk flowers, well then depending on the size of the basket you can use it for magazines. Larger baskets are great for magazines and even bath towels.

For small baskets, you may want to purchase your favorite potpourri and put it in the basket. This you can leave on a table or if you have small kids, maybe high on a shelf. Either way the scent will bless your room.

Baskets today come in so many colors, sizes, and shapes. The thought is endless as to what you can fill your favorite basket with. So dont throw away all those old baskets, recycle them and give them to friends and family at holidays and enjoy in their surprise with what you have made for them.
