He Urden Of Ducation N Odays Eneration

Does the pressure of study by school being put on todays generation? Yes exactly and it is very true that these days schools are putting a lot of pressure on kids. School children are always seen carrying a bag heavy with books and notebooks on their shoulders which make them bend downwards due to the weight due to the immense pressure on their back. Irrespective of whether the students are of class 1 or class 10, the kids are facing a huge burden of academic studies. These days every parent wants that his\her child should come first and nobody wants them to figure in the last position. Everyone talks about how much marks their child got irrespective of how much they actually learnt for life. Children always want to score higher and higher marks as it gives them a feeling of pride in their class and society. Parents too always want their children to be on the toppers list.To bring them to the top they spend thousands of rupees on their studies such as on tuition, extra- classes etc. and on their better living conditions so that they can fully concentrate on their studies. But is this the correct manner of creating champions? Definitely not it only increases a lot of burdens on the school children. Childhood is a unique time for them to grow and become mature. At that time the mental and physical level increases and they are able to learn and explore new things at a faster pace. But these days in schools a huge pressure of studies and work are put on children due to which they are not able to enjoy their childhood as such. Especially private schools follow a well-defined pattern laid down according to various academic boards such as CBSE, ICSE, etc. These Boards create a large amount of pressure on schools in which they have to complete the prescribed syllabus defined by them on time, which ultimately leads to an undue pressure on children. These extra burdens create a negative impact on children because they sometimes make themselves so busy that they forget other important things in life like playing, reading other journals and books. Children lose their childhood due to the hectic school life because these days schools puts a lot of pressures on studies only rather than making children participating in any other extra co-curricular activities. The children often do not get any exposure of the outside world apart from their studies and bookish knowledge and for the whole year the kids are always facing tests, projects, assignments and homework and only those tasks which their teachers give to them to increase their academic knowledge. This makes a childs life really busy and hectic making it so much miserable that they cant do any other work. The children can neither watch educational TV channels such as discovery, national geographical etc nor go out on long trips with the family because they not get any extra time for anything apart from studies. More students are committing suicides due to the huge mental pressure of study on them as if they dont come first they will be scolded by their parents due to which they are either trying to live up to their parents or the schools expectation, so some time they take wrong steps like suicides and some go into drugs and all other such bad activities. For children something should be done in their favor such they should provide with lesser homework. No extra written work ofschool given to them for doing them at their home because written work consumes a lot of time. Hence school should always encourage children to be ahead in their life but not at the cost of making education a burden for them.
