Your First Year In Network Marketing Make It Count
Make your first year in Network Marketing go with a bang! Because this business is traditionally offered to people who have little or no business experience, your first year in Network Marketing can be extremely difficult. The compensation plan alone can leave your head reeling! Asking people to look at their business is so far out the comfort zone of many new business builders, that they often get no further. Some Suggestions to Help You 1. Work on your Why. If this is your first year in Network Marketing, you will of course already have a Why, but make sure it is big enough. Before they get into Network Marketing, people are not used to dreaming big, so their mind is not open enough to find a big Why. A dream board, or book is a great way to improve your Why. Find pictures or photographs of anything which you dream of if you picture your perfect life. These do not necessarily have to be physical items, such as a big car, but also things like having a wonderful group of friends or living in a different country or area. The very best Why is something that has an emotional link to it, because an emotion will get you back on track faster. 2. Understand that Network Marketing is full of ups and downs. You need to stay positive when you go through the downs. Remember that everyone, in any MLM business, goes through the same thing. If you feel low, or upset, phone someone such as your upline for a chat. And focus as much as possible on the good things. 3. Do not expect your friends and family to understand why you are so excited about Network Marketing. This is something which I feel many business owners are surprised at when they first enter this arena. Those who see the possibilities with MLM get frustrated when other people do not. You feel determined to make them see the business from your eyes. However, very few people will understand, particularly if they have always been an employee. Doing something so far out of their comfort zone will not sit well on the majority of people. 4. Ensure that you do some Personal Development everyday. Listening to a CD or reading a book regularly can help you so much with your business. If you learn something new and share it with your downline, over and over again, you will become a leader. What if I'm Still Not Getting Anywhere?? If your initial excitement has burnt out and you are hanging precariously by your finger-tips onto your business, you need to consider dragging your business into the 21st Century and taking it online! If you are still determined to reach the top, but your warm market doesn't want to know, just jump in and try working online. On the internet the number of prospects is constantly growing, and they come from all over the world!
